Book of Cats

Inside the game

Captured in the studio's own free demo on 11 September 2026. Nothing below is taken from a press release or another site — it is what the game shows when you open it.

The base gameThe demo's opening screen, total bet at 0.10 FUN. The Egyptian setting reaches all the way into the letters: the A, K, Q and J are drawn as cat silhouettes, while the high symbols line up the Pharaoh cat mask, the goddess Bastet and the blue amulet. The bottom bar scrolls the game's taglines.
Game rules, page 1The Golden Book plays both roles at once, Wild and Scatter: it substitutes for every symbol on the winning line, and three or more Scatters in the main game open 10 free spins with an expanding symbol. Its scale starts at 2 for three of a kind and climbs to 200 for five. Below it, the high symbols: the Pharaoh queen pays 5 from two of a kind and 2500 for five, Bastet 1000, the mask 375.
Game rules, page 2The end of the paytable: the amulet still pays 2 from two symbols, then the letters share flat scales — 3 for three symbols, 12 to 20 for four, 50 to 75 for five. Below the table the first feature opens, The Risk Game: guess the colour or the suit of a face-down card to increase your win.
Game rules, page 3The Risk Game screen as the game shows it. The current win, 0.8, sits on the left, and betting on the colour would double it exactly — 1.60 announced beneath the card. The six paw-shaped buttons offer Black, Red and the four suits, while the History strip keeps the last three cards.
Game rules, page 4The free spins page: the bonus game starts as soon as three or more Golden Books land, and the game states that further spins can be won inside it with no stated limit. The illustration shows the trigger, three Pharaoh queens at 100.00 lined up and a 100.00 win heading off to the right.
Game rules, page 5The expanding symbol, the heart of the bonus round: designated before the free spins, it then behaves like a regular symbol but pays on every line played, even without an immediate neighbour. The illustration says it without words — the book opens on a Bastet mask, and the whole screen fills with that same mask.
Game rules, page 6The opening page, signed by the studio: the game presents itself as a tribute to Ancient Egypt and to the cult of the cat goddess Bastet, whose festival it borrows. It names its own symbols — the key of the Nile, the Pharaoh cat mask, Bastet — and its three features: the winline expansion, free spins that can be retriggered, and the expanding symbol of the bonus round.
Game rules, page 7After the Autospins stop conditions, the Features block opens on the Golden Book. It substitutes for every symbol on the winning line, and three Scatters in the main game trigger the bonus round of 10 free spins with an expanding symbol. A caveat follows, easy to miss: during that bonus round the Scatter can no longer substitute for the expanding symbol.
Game rules, page 8Three paragraphs that lock down the bonus round: the Golden Book can never become the expanding symbol; that symbol, once the regular symbols have been paid, expands over three positions and pays by its own table, even on non-adjacent positions; and the expansion only fires if the symbols needed for a win are already there. Then comes the Gamble round, where guessing the colour doubles the stake and the suit quadruples it.
Game rules, page 9The rule that bounds the Gamble, and it is precise: you can keep playing it as long as the win stays under a quarter of the maximum win. As soon as the next bet would exceed that ceiling, the room closes by itself and the amount already won is credited. Further down, the results page restates that symbols pay left to right on consecutive reels of an active payline.
Game rules, page 10The end of the spin results, where two useful details sit: the Scatter pays from any part of the screen and is calculated on the total bet, whereas payline wins are calculated on the bet per line; and during the bonus round the expanding symbol pays from any position on the lines played. Free spins are played at the bet and the number of lines of the triggering round.
Game rules, page 11The game's figures page: the overall theoretical RTP is given there as 96.99%. Just below, the RNG paragraph points to the studio's certified random number generator, and the Additional information section begins.
