Book of Kemet

Inside the game

Captured in the studio's own free demo on 11 September 2026. Nothing below is taken from a press release or another site — it is what the game shows when you open it.

The base gameFive reels of three rows, framed by two jackal-headed guards. On the scroll to the left, Buy Bonus is announced "from 22.00 FUN" for a 0.20 FUN total bet — at least 110× the stake — and Chance ×2 costs an extra 0.12 FUN, 60% more bet. The grid shows most of the cast: the explorer, the pharaoh, Anubis and the beaked mask.
Game rules, page 1The book has two columns of prices, and that is the whole subtlety: as a Wild it pays from 10 for two of a kind to 5000 for five, as a Scatter it pays 2, 20 and 200 for three, four and five. It substitutes for every symbol, pays regardless of position, and three Scatters landing on the same spin open the free spins. The explorer below is the paytable's dearest symbol, level with the book.
Game rules, page 2The middle of the paytable, and the hierarchy is clear: the explorer and the pharaoh pay from two symbols, 10 and 5. Anubis and the beaked mask share exactly the same scale — 5 / 30 / 100 / 750 — while the A and K letters only pay from three of a kind and top out at 150 for five.
Game rules, page 3The bottom of the table — Q, J and 10 all line up at 5 / 20 / 100 — then the feature the game rests on: free spins with an expanding symbol. That symbol is drawn at random from every symbol except the Scatter, it pays even on non-adjacent reels, and it expands across the whole reel only in the case where it pays.
Game rules, page 4The illustration shows the expanding symbol at work: the explorer fills three whole reels, and the frieze at the top recalls which symbol was drawn. The text moves on to the retrigger: three Scatters during the free spins retrigger the feature and add one more expanding symbol. The number of retriggers is unlimited, but the number of expanding symbols stops at 9.
Game rules, page 5The retrigger in picture form: the book opens on "+10 FREE SPINS" on the left and a "+1" above the new expanding symbol, here Anubis. Below it the payline chart begins, each line drawn on a miniature grid — the first four are visible, line 1 across the middle, line 2 along the top, line 3 along the bottom.
Game rules, page 6The opening page, where the studio says what matters in two sentences: the book symbol holds both the Wild and the Scatter role, and the bonus round brings an expanding symbol that pays even on non-adjacent reels and covers the whole reel when it pays. Instructions and the Autospins settings follow.
Game rules, page 7After the Autospins stop conditions, the Features block gives the bonus round's figures: three or more Scatters trigger it, it starts at 10 spins, and every retrigger adds one more expanding symbol. The ceiling is set in the same sentence — never more than 9 expanding symbols, however many retriggers occur.
Game rules, page 8Buy Bonus does not just buy free spins: it buys a bonus round with a given number of expanding symbols, and the price follows the bet automatically. Chance ×2 doubles the odds of getting there by slightly raising the bet, and the two features exclude each other. Further down, the spin results restate that payline wins are calculated on the bet per line, the Scatter excepted.
Game rules, page 9The figures page, and it is chattier than usual. The overall theoretical RTP is 94.94%, that of Chance ×2 is 94.99%, and there is no single buy return: it depends on how many expanding symbols are bought — 95.13% for one symbol, 95.76% for two, with the list continuing further down.
