On the reels sit the twelve zodiac animals in medallions, the red lantern — the scatter — on the first reel, and the moon, the substitute symbol, on the fourth.
Game rules, page 1The page that sets the bet: the coin value is picked from 5, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500, the bet level from 1, 2, 5, 7 and 10, and the lines are fixed at 18. Total bet in coins is the number of lines multiplied by the bet level: from 18 coins, or ‡90, up to 180 coins, or ‡90,000. The page also notes that the demo is played with fun money.
Game rules, page 2The page where the game states its own figures: one line for the game's theoretical return to player, a second and separate one for the JACKPOT RACE™. The panel adds that the calculation rests on a statistical analysis of the game logic, that no player strategy can affect it, and that it is drawn from the average of 2 × 500,000,000 game cycles. Below come the file date and the version numbers of the client, the server, the random number generator and the jackpot.
Game rules, page 3The substitute symbol is the moon: it appears only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and stands in for every symbol except the lantern. At random, all moons taking part in a winning combination turn into a full moon and multiply the win by 3, once per line only. Below, the scatter: the lantern pays 3,420, 720 and 180 for five, four and three of them, its wins are multiplied by the total bet and are added to line wins.
Game rules, page 4How lines are read: every symbol pays left to right and right to left, except the lantern, which pays wherever it lands; if five matching symbols fill a line, only the left-to-right direction is paid. Then the animals' pay table opens: the rat, the ox and the tiger all show 940, 165 and 40 for five, four and three symbols, at the bet on screen.

Game rules, page 6The pig closes the pay table on the same 940, 165 and 40, then comes the feature: three lanterns or more, wherever they land during the base game, award 6 free games. During the feature only the zodiac symbols appear, and any matching symbol landing anywhere turns into a lantern and pays as one. The feature cannot be retriggered, and the free games are played at the bet of the triggering spin.

Wins on different lines are added together, scatter wins are added to line wins and multiplied by the total bet while line wins are multiplied by the bet per line, and only the highest combination is paid on each line.
