Aztec Smash

Inside the game

Captured in the studio's own free demo on 8 September 2026. Nothing below is taken from a press release or another site — it is what the game shows when you open it.

The base gameA square grid of seven columns by seven rows, filled with tiki masks and set gems, backed against a jungle-covered pyramid. On the left, two stone tablets: the SMASH MULTIPLIER meter showing 10× and, below it, BUY FREE SPINS at $200.00 for the $2.00 bet given under the balance — 100× the stake.
Game rules, page 1The pay table at a $2 bet, preceded by the forming rule: symbols pay in blocks of at least 5 symbols connected horizontally or vertically, on a 7×7 grid the game states itself. Each symbol has eleven bands, from 5 symbols up to the 15-49 tier: the red-headdress mask tops out at $300.00, ahead of the pink mask at $200.00 and the purple mask at $120.00, then the gems — red $80.00, blue $60.00, green $50.00, orange triangle $40.00. The sun disc is the SCATTER: three scatters or more trigger the free spins.
Smash multiplier featureFour blocks on one page. The TUMBLE FEATURE pays the winning blocks, removes their symbols — except scatters — drops the rest and refills from above, until no new combination appears. The SMASH MULTIPLIER FEATURE marks random symbols on the grid after every spin and every tumble: each marked symbol that is part of a winning block multiplies that win by 10×. The free spins: 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters are worth 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins respectively, and the multiplier on marked symbols starts at 10× then climbs with each win — in steps of 10× up to 100×, then in steps of 100× up to a ceiling of 1,000×, where it stops rising; a fresh set of 3 to 7 scatters retriggers the round for 10 to 30 more spins. Finally the ceiling, 9,000× the bet, and the free spins purchase at 100× the total bet, the triggering spin then able to land 3 to 7 scatters.
Game rulesThe figures page, under the HIGH VOLATILITY label the game puts on itself. Only the highest win is paid per winning combination, winning blocks are added together, and all wins are multiplied by the base bet. The game then states two distinct returns: a theoretical RTP of 96.52% and an RTP of 96.51% when using "BUY FREE SPINS". Bets run from $0.20 to $240.00.
How to playThe controls page: plus and minus change the bet value and open the bet menu, the round button starts the spin. The three-line menu opens the settings, the three-chevron icon cycles the three speeds — normal, quick and turbo — the speaker mutes the sound, the "i" opens the information page. The CREDIT and BET counters switch between coins view and cash view with a click on their label, and the AUTOPLAY button opens then stops automatic play.
Settings menuThe settings menu described line by line: INTRO SCREEN, AMBIENT and SOUND FX each toggle separately, GAME HISTORY opens the game history page. Then the information screen, whose arrows scroll the pages, and the bet menu, which shows the bet multiplier available and the total bet in both coins and cash. The foot of the page repeats the ceiling: 9,000× the bet, the round ending as soon as it is reached.
AutoplayThe panel's last page, on automatic play, not the menu itself: it says autoplay is started by clicking the buttons showing the number of possible auto-spins, and that the SKIP SCREENS option auto-skips the feature's introduction and end screens after a short period of time.
Game rules, page 7The panel has come back round to its first page: the capture shows again the rule of blocks of at least 5 connected symbols on the 7×7 grid, the eleven-band pay table and the sun disc SCATTER. Nothing differs from the earlier view of that same page — the panel has simply looped.
Buying the featureNo purchase window is open in this view: this is the base game, the 7×7 grid full, the SMASH MULTIPLIER meter at 10× and the BUY FREE SPINS tablet priced at $200.00 for the $2.00 bet — 100× the stake. The capture therefore shows the purchase price as it is offered, not the confirmation that follows.
