The base gameFive reels of three cells, but the cells are gold-rimmed hexagons and the even reels are offset half a cell downward: the grid draws a honeycomb, not a rectangle. Ten paylines run across it. On the left, two buttons stacked on the hive: the ante bet, BET $4.00 for a better chance at the feature, its switch set to OFF, and the BUY FREE SPINS hexagon at $200.00 for the $2.00 bet in play. The beekeeper and his smoker hold the left edge, a bee in a leather jacket the right.

The hive leads at $400.00 for five and is the only ordinary symbol to pay from two, at $0.80; the honey dipper follows at $200.00, strawberry and daisy at $100.00, and the five letters on the second row all carry the same scale, $20.00 / $4.00 / $0.80. At the bottom, the BEE WILD bee — which appears only during the free spins and substitutes for everything except the Scatter and the MONEY symbol — and the beekeeper SCATTER, present on all reels.

The three bars open the settings, the three chevrons cycle the speeds — normal, quick, turbo — the speaker cuts the sound, the i opens the information. The round button starts the spin; the AUTOPLAY button, reproduced twice in its white outline, opens automatic play then stops it. The CREDIT and BET labels switch between coins and cash with a click.
