The adventurer sits in the middle of the grid and the book with the golden scarab, the scatter, has landed at the bottom of reel five. The bet is 2.00 against a 5,000.00 balance; the bottom bar lines up the menu, sound, turbo spin, the spin button, autoplay and the − and + keys.
PaytableThe PAYTABLE page opens on the WILD BOOK SCATTER: three or more of them anywhere on the reels pay a prize and open the free spins; the book substitutes for every symbol, except the active expanding symbol during the free spins. At the 2.00 bet shown along the bottom, the table pays 400.00 for five books, 40.00 for four and 4.00 for three. The next section states that three books trigger 10 free spins with the Expanding Symbols feature and the Fixed Symbols mechanic.
Game rulesThe first GAME RULES page tells the mechanic: three books open 10 free spins, and the book first picks a symbol to become the expanding symbol — it then covers the whole reel it appears on. During those spins a second book comes in, the Golden Book: wherever it lands it turns that reel into a Fixed Symbols Reel, and the reel stays that way until the free spins end.
