Beam Boys

Inside the game

Captured in the studio's own free demo on 11 September 2026. Nothing below is taken from a press release or another site — it is what the game shows when you open it.

The base gameSix reels and four rows ringed with electric-blue barbed wire, in a black-and-white alley where only the laser strokes carry colour; the alley cat watches from the right of the grid. The symbols are scrawled letters and small inked creatures, with an orange FS scatter already sitting on the fourth reel. To the left, outside the grid, a VOLATILITY SWITCH box reads NORMAL; below, the yellow BUY BONUS button, the demo bet at €2.00 and a play balance of €5,000.
FeaturesThe panel opens on what sets this game apart: a volatility switch sitting outside the grid, toggling between normal and extreme mode — smaller, more frequent wins on one side, bigger and rarer ones on the other, in the game's own words. The page also states a 6-reel, 4-row grid, ways wins and a ceiling of 12,500 times the bet reachable in every mode; the Wild Rows feature begins at the foot of the page.
Bonus gameThe end of Wild Rows, illustrated by the cat firing its beam: every position covered by the Wild Laser Cat or by the beam it shoots to the left turns Wild and substitutes for the whole paytable. Then comes the bonus, whose length depends on how many FS scatters land together in the base game — 3 award 5 free spins, 4 award 10, 5 award 20 and 6 award 40. During the run, 2 further scatters add 2 spins and 3 add 4.
Game rules, page 3The paytable at the bet shown on screen, with an extra column: the grid having six reels, each symbol also pays for six of a kind. The five letters are all worth 1.00 / 0.60 / 0.40 / 0.20 for six, five, four and three symbols; above them the two grey creatures top out at 1.60, the next two at 2.40, the blue creature at 4.00, and six Laser Cats are worth 10.00.
Ways to winThe line under the paytable puts a figure on what the switch changes: the game's theoretical return is 96.35% in normal volatility mode against 96.26% in extreme mode, both calculated over 10 billion simulated rounds. WAYS TO WIN follows, illustrated by one grid ticked in green and one crossed in red — matching symbols must occupy adjacent reels starting from the leftmost — and then the BONUS BUY section begins.
Game rules, page 5Here the switch shows up in the purchase figures: the panel publishes two sets of returns, one per mode. In normal volatility, 96.32% for BonusHunt FeatureSpins, 96.3% for both Wide Spectrum and Narrow Spectrum, 96.32% for the Photonic Fur Bonus; in extreme volatility, 96.38%, 96.32%, 96.4% and 96.33%. The page also warns that flipping the switch while FeatureSpins are active disables them at once.
SpinThe page of controls and of the ceiling: the bet is set between €0.10 and €75.00, a limit feature buys may exceed, and a spin is launched with the SPIN button or the spacebar. The MAX WIN section caps the game at 12,500 times the bet — once reached it ends the round on the spot and any remaining free spins are discarded. The game also notes that very large wins are displayed abbreviated with letters, always rounded down.
AutoplayAutoplay and the keyboard. The run starts with the AUTOPLAY button, stops with STOP, and its advanced settings cut it off as soon as a number of rounds, a total session loss or a single win is exceeded; Turbo Play is set from the menu. Then begins the list of shortcuts: SHIFT + S for sound, SHIFT + P for the paytable, SHIFT + B or F for the buy menu.
Game rules, page 8The panel's last view: the end of the keyboard shortcuts, including SHIFT + ENTER to confirm a purchase, then the standard notices — the bottom bar shows balance, win and bet, no drawn reel represents a real device, and the outcome comes from the random number generator. In small print, the game dates its own rules to 3 September 2026.
Buying the featureThe buy menu, opened at a €2.00 bet. Three FeatureSpins options can be activated — BonusHunt at €10.00, making each spin 10 times more likely to trigger a bonus, Wide Spectrum at €100.00, guaranteeing at least one Laser Cat on reels 2 to 6, and Narrow Spectrum at €400.00, guaranteeing one on reels 4 to 6 — while the Photonic Fur Bonus is bought at €220.00, for an entry at 10, 20 or 40 free spins.
