Hounds of Hell

Inside the game

Captured in the studio's own free demo on 11 September 2026. Nothing below is taken from a press release or another site — it is what the game shows when you open it.

The base gameFive reels, five rows and no lines: wins are formed by clusters anywhere on the grid. Card symbols carved in stone for the lows, skeletal hands, pentagram, skulls and the eye in the pyramid for the highs; bottom left, the yellow BUY BONUS button, with the demo bet at €2.00.
Game rules, page 1The opening page: the game states five reels and five rows with all-scatter wins, then sets out its core feature. Hellhound symbols are cash prize multipliers: at the end of each spin those that landed spread to the top of their reel, each shows a value, and they are collected bottom-to-top and left-to-right above each reel. The collected values are added together and multiplied by the bet.
Game rules, page 2The two families of Hellhound and their values: the adding ones run from 1× to 50×, the multiplying ones from x2 to x10, and only one Hellhound can land per reel. Below, the Roaring Packs: two or more Hellhounds side by side on adjacent reels and the same row form a pack and their values are raised — 5× to 100× adding, x3 to x20 multiplying. A Hellhound that has been part of a pack stays in it even if a cascade separates it from the others.
Game rules, page 3Two side features. Hounds are Loose triggers at random once the grid has settled and no new win forms: every low-paying symbol is swept away, new ones drop in their place with an increased chance of Hellhounds among them, and it can fire several times in one spin. Bonus Gamble opens on entering a bonus: five Hellfire Orbs are offered, up to three are picked, each holding 2 to 10 free spins — or an upgrade that turns the WHAT THE HELL! bonus into WHO LET THE HOUNDS OUT?!? with its 10 spins. One gamble per bonus, plus one more after an upgrade.
Game rules, page 4The first bonus, WHAT THE HELL!, opens on 3 FS symbols landing together and gives 10 free spins: the multipliers collected from Hellhounds stay above the reels until the round ends and can keep growing, then they are added together and multiplied by the bet on the way out. Hounds are Loose is guaranteed there after three non-winning spins in a row — a spin with neither a symbol win nor a Hellhound. 2 FS symbols add 2 spins, 3 add 4. Below begins the second bonus, WHO LET THE HOUNDS OUT?!?, opened by 4 FS symbols for 10 spins.
Game rules, page 5What sets WHO LET THE HOUNDS OUT?!? apart: the Hell Reels stay active. The first Hellhound to land on a reel activates it, and that reel is then guaranteed one on every free spin until the bonus ends; here the multipliers are paid at the end of each spin and reset to zero instead of accumulating. The pay table starts below: at a €2.00 bet the five low symbols all pay €0.20 for six, €0.60 for seven, €2.00 for eight or nine and €10.00 for ten or more.
Game rules, page 6The end of the pay table, then the rules that form a win. The game states its theoretical return, 96.27%, calculated over ten billion simulated rounds, and notes that an FS symbol cannot appear above a Hellhound on the same reel. The WAYS TO WIN section fits in one line: six or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid — a green diagram shows a scattered cluster that pays, a red one a layout that does not. After each win the winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in, until no further win forms.
Bonus buyThe purchase page: the BUY BONUS button buys a feature straight from the main game, and the FeatureSpins option charges a set amount on every spin, based on the current bet, until it is switched off with DISABLE. The page then lists, one by one, each buyable entry and its own return figure — BONUSHUNT and HOWLING on the FeatureSpins side, WHAT THE HELL! and WHO LET THE HOUNDS OUT?!? on the bonus side — with a different average depending on whether the Bonus Gamble is used.
SpinThe limits and the paying rules: the bet runs from €0.10 to €50.00, and feature buys may exceed that ceiling. A spin starts from the round button or the space bar and the wins of one round are added together in the WIN field. The MAX WIN section confirms the 20,000× ceiling: once it is reached the round ends immediately and any remaining free spins are discarded.
AutoplayThe controls page: during free spins the win of each spin shows in WIN and the running total in TOTAL WIN, next to the number of spins left. Autoplay chains a chosen number of rounds and is halted with the STOP button, its advanced settings add a session loss limit and a single-win limit, and Turbo Play — not offered by every operator — is set from the menu. The list of keyboard shortcuts follows.
Buying the featureThe purchase menu, with the bet set to €2.00 at the top of the screen. Four entries: BONUSHUNT FeatureSpins at €6.00, which makes each spin five times more likely to open a bonus; HOWLING FeatureSpins at €120.00, which guarantees at least three Hellhounds per spin but bars FS symbols; WHAT THE HELL! at €200.00, its 10 free spins with accumulated multipliers; and WHO LET THE HOUNDS OUT?!? at €500.00, its 10 spins with activated reels. The first two are activated, the last two bought.
